Personally, I think the later start is so worth staying later.

Could you describe student life / quality of life at FSU? Is it a friendly atmosphere? What are the students like?

I'm strongly considering going there in the fall, but I haven't had the time to make a visit yet, so my decision is obviously contingent on checking it out..

Quality of life is very good, the place is very friendly, and everyone gets along very well.

I was actually really surprised by the generally good nature of everyone. Maybe it's the weather or something, but everyone seems pretty chill. They all work hard, but they know how to relax a bit too. There's always opportunities to hang out with people and the administration seems pretty friendly and helpful. I really have nothing bad to say about the school or the people.

Well, if you ask a bunch of octogenarian judges that went to school when UF and Miami were the only game in town and will die of old age in the next 10-20 years, yes, I suppose that's a downside. Other than that, no, far from it. Actually, that's kind of the point; they're not very far apart in the rankings, and we're about to dump a ton of money into refurbishing a DCA building, which should help us inch up a few more spots.

Yeah, totally cuz UF is ranked sooo much better than FSU, right?

Don't mind him, he's a hater that apparently went to an atrophying university.
