I know it is not absurd what they did. That letter was not that part that annoyed me it was that they did not officially reject me until August 14th and I applied September 1st the year before. I think they should have made a final decision in less than 11 months, but the way they acted is not incompetent or off the wall and I am sure Santa Clara is a fine school. I am actually quite satisfied with the way things turned out and that I am saving 48,000 going to a tier 4 instead of the 82nd best school for full price.
I imagine things would have turned out fine for me at Santa Clara, but I would have had more debt for essentially the same degree in my opinion. I think any of the ABA bay area schools will treat you fine and the admissions process is frustrating and will continue to be for all law students.
