waitlist help!

I just found out I got waitlisted at Syracuse.  How difficult is it to get accepted once you've been waitlisted?  Any ideas? ??? ???

I happen to know from a reliable source that if you email the Dean of Admissions directly and offer to give a ZJ for admission, they will accept your offer.
