Do I have a shot late in the game??
« on: March 20, 2009, 12:33:01 AM »
I just recently applied to a number of schools.  I'm a African American male with a 2.9 GPA, and a 154 LSAT score.  I also havea master's degree.  How much does applying late affect my chances?  Do I even have a chance at any of these schools?:

New York Law School
CUNY
American
Catholic
Howard
Baltimore
Cleveland State

Applying late can hurt, but I'd imagine most of those schools accept apps pretty late into the game.

out of all those schools the only school worth going to (IMO) is Howard.  You have a decent shot there.

Is there a reason you can't just wait six months?

I might have to wait til the next cycle, but hopefully i get in this time around.  Has anyone had any success with applying late and being waitlisted?

Agreed, but the other guy seemed to be saying Howard was a better overall school.

Howard has marginally better employment prospects and about a 20% lower bar passage rate.
