so has anyone else been waiting MONTHS for USD and Santa Clara to get back to them?  this is getting a bit ridiculous.  furthermore, what the heck happened to USD's status checker?  i can't find it now that they revamped their website.

i applied feb first... went complete 3 weeks after... and got a reply 2 weeks ago. dont worry abt it... u have a higher score than I do, and they gave me scholarship. so I am sure u got in. the admissions office is just really packed. i called and they said they had 600 applications the day I submitted mine. you'll be fine!

well that sounds great.  if i could get a scholarship from them, that would be awesome.  i would definitely go if i could get decent money.  let me ask you this though, what the hell do you say to an admissions person about checkin your app?  they're not gonna immediately think "ok, this kid obviously didn't listen to us when we said not to call and ask about his app.  he's an idiot.  don't accept him"?  i mean, this may be a bit of hyperbole, but you get my point.

from wat i know... the ppl u call to check on ur status is not the ppl who will review ur file. the ppl u call are people from the admissions office. they told me they wont know anything abt it if its in review already, which meant its passed to the admissions council. so i dont think calling to ask will effect ur application.
