Soooo.... How was it?

It was a really good event. They had Alumni speakers, student speakers, and the dean of Academic Support to speak.I thought the speakers were able to give alot of insight. They talked about grades, dual degree programs, studying issues, how the economy has affected the job market and a few other things. After the speakers, we then were able to learn about the different organizations we could join on campus.

Also, did you see anyone there that was at the Diversity day?

There are fewer large firms hiring, BUT whether or not you can find a job is up to you. They advised that we should start "thinking outside the box". The basic advice is that we should network rather than just waiting for OCI's and summer associateships to land us jobs.
I didnt remember seeing anyone from Diversity Day.

I'm a current student at UALR.  Just registered for my 3rd year in the PT program.

For those of you going FT, I had your torts, contracts, civ pro, and property professors.  Torts, contracts, and property profs are all excellent.  The civ pro professor is a little iffy, imho.
