hey guys, i was one of the people who recently had my law firm offer rescinded but just got an offer for a federal judicial internship this summer. it's obviously not paid and i wanted to ask whether you think i'd be better off working for the judge or getting at a small/medium firm that pays? thanks!

A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. If it were me, I'd take the internship, make nice with the judge, and get a great recommendation.

Depends on the Court. If it's nothing prestigious, it isn't going to help the OP land a job next year.

I'd take the money. You can still get a recommendation from someone at that firm, it's not as if judges are the only ones who have the ability to give recommendations. Plus, maybe you could upgrade to eating something besides ramen!
