Oh, I never said anything about it being due to the economy.  The fact of the matter is, there just aren't that many jobs in the field, no matter when you're looking at it.  I wish we could all be astronauts, but we can't.

Family Law.

Athletes and Entertainers are always screwing up their marriages.  Become a well known family law attorney in a strong market and you can often pick up "celeb" clients.

I had someone tell me quite frankly that saying you want to be a Sports Law attorney is like saying you want to be a princess or an astronaut when you grow up. If you were the starting QB at your undergrad or if you're a retired Big Leaguer, you'll be in a much better position.

As to your original question, there are few places on Earth more awesome than New Orleans. If you can pay the Tulane check, how can you NOT go?
