Chances at U Chicago
« on: February 16, 2009, 03:43:07 PM »
I'm still waiting to here back from the University of Chicago and Northwestern.  I have a 3.3 GPA and a 171 LSAT.  I know my GPA is low for both schools but I thought I would apply anyway.  Just wondering if anyone had any info/insight as to my chances of admission.

Did you look at Law School Numbers? If you go to their page on that site, you can probably get an idea about whether or not someone with your numbers can get in.

I'd say decent shot at NU and not so much at U of C

Not so much at Chicago IMHO - I agree about decent shot at NU though, although that may depend a bit on how long you've been out of undergrad.  NU loves kids not straight out.

Sorry Kman, I can't say I'm a DePaul fan.  I looked at the LSN site some of you suggested, U of C does look a little out of reach.  Hopefully NU is a more realistic option.
