Seriously?

If you want Houston, Dallas, NOLA, NYC - Tulane.
If you want South Atlantic - Wake Forest.

I chose Tulane over Wake.

And I'm glad I did--basketball season notwithstanding.

New Orleans is a freaking great place to go to school.

You can't beat sunny and 75 in January-February.

Thanks for the input! Just curious, did you find one school to be better than the other in terms of aid/scholarships?

I think Princeton Review listed Tulane's starting salary at $88,000 and Wake at something like $65,000 - $70,000.
And while they're similarly ranked (maybe Wake is a couple spots higher), Tulane is the bext in it's state whereas Wake students have to compete with UNC and Duke.

Depends on what you want for a career I imagine.

Wake is ranked higher.  My friend at Wake says it used to be ranked much higher (T-25?).

He went to Wake b/c he wants something that needed whatever extra ranking prestige he could get.  He wanted a clerkship or Government thinktank or teaching or something.

He's clerking when he gradudates this year.

Thanks for the great info! I too found the starting salary difference striking..although a lot of Tulane grads practice in NYC so they need the better salaries to afford the living costs. I honestly don't know where I want to practice. I'm from PA and I wouldn't say either school has an outright advantage in my state. I'm really hoping to get $ from one of the schools to make my decision easier.
