LSAT Approach
« on: February 09, 2009, 04:52:21 PM »
Hey guys,
Tried reading through this forum but without a search function, it's hard to find repeated threads.

Anyway,
I hope to take the LSAT this June. That said, I am going to take a prep course over the summer (April-June), most likely TestMasters or BP.
Any experience with them? Another forum recommended them over Kaplan or Oxford Seminars.

Next Q: Since this test is more about HOW you think versus WHAT you KNOW, is it better to study on my own before the course, or after? I don't want to approach the problems/practice exams on my own, develop an ineffective method, and then have trouble changing it during the prep course. Yet, I do want to put the time in.

Thoughts?

Finally, how many months before the LSAT do you guys start prepping?
I feel kind of late, February starting (on my own, maybe), April-June intense course?

Thanks,
W
