Which would you rather be?

Which would you rather be?

A student in the top 10% at a T25 school and on Law Review or a median-ish student at Chicago and maybe on a secondary journal?

median at chicago.

Any particular reason why?

Also, what if you were to substitute Chi with UVA? Same result?

Really depends on which T25. I'd rather be a top student at UVA than median at Chicago, but I'd much rather be median at Chicago than top at most schools ranked lower than UVA.

If the T25 was in the region I wanted to work, I'd rather be top 10% at the T25.  If I wanted to work somewhere else, median at Chicago.

Also, if you're median at Chicago, no one would know because they don't rank and their grading system is weird.

It would depend on what I wanted to do and where I wanted to work.

Why do you ask?

Lawyers tell me that, years down the road, your school is remembered, but not your rank.

That only applies to people who did well in Elements.
