Did anyone else receive the UIUC e-mail from Paul Pless today?  It stated that my file had been reviewed for a second time and referred me to a survey.  However, the survey asks if I want to REMAIN on the waitlist?  Status checker still says Hold for Second Review....

I received a similar e-mail and responded "yes" and got an acceptance + scholarship offer within a few hours.  This was later in the cycle last year, though.

Wow, good to know.  Although it would be nearly impossible to guess all the factors in the decisions, this gives me a glimmer of hope.  Thanks.

Also, was above their 25% in both GPA and LSAT... leads me to believe there was something they didn't particularly like about my app.  C'est la vie.
