In at USD..at 25th percentile range?
« on: February 05, 2009, 04:24:28 AM »
How selective is USD? Both my GPA and LSAT are below the 25th precentile range, and I'm definitely not a URM. I'm currently in my fourth year of undergrad..didn't do anything spectacularly fascinating, although I was heavily involved in extracurriculars. Very minimal work experience. And I got in. What gives?  ??? I guess I should be happy? Could it have been my personal statement? I heard back from them within a month after I submitted my application. Don't law schools place very heavy emphasis on numbers? I'm betting other schools won't be as nice as USD?

My impression was that USD was a stickler on numbers...especially LSAT. But none the less, congrats, and hopefully I get some good news for PT soon...

I'm a CA resident. I applied late December...so it was a relatively early response.

Don't think I'll be lucky with other schools. Who knows. If it happened to me, I'm sure it can happen to you guys!  ;)

AutumnFall-

PT or FT? And what were your numbers if you don't mind me asking.

I'm applying PT, but my LSAT is just under 25%, my G.P.A. is around 75%. AutumnFall, you give me hope my child.
