Summer Law Teaching Gig Weak on Resume?
« on: January 28, 2009, 12:05:19 PM »
I am considering working with the Summer Law Institute at Legal Outreach, which would entail training and teaching a criminal justice class to 8th graders.  The majority of my professional resume involves teaching.  Will this hurt me during Fall OCI, (appearing that Im more of a teacher than a lawyer).  FYI, shooting for firm work (Currently top 25% at Fordham).

I think a decent general rule is to try to do something that you can get a writing sample from.
