Does a transfer out count towards attrition?
« on: January 28, 2009, 10:58:57 AM »
I was wondering if people transferring out of a school is factored in for a school's attrition rate. Thanks

Depends who is giving the data.  Some distinguish between academic attrition and transferring, some count academic attrition + (transfers out - transfers in), etc.

Yes, it counts, but not towards academic attrition, just the "other" category.
