Merit aid at Duke

I was under the impression that Duke begins giving merit money out this month.  Is anyone else believe or not believe that to be the case?  Has anyone gotten any money?

From the acceptance email: "If you submit the scholarship application form, you may expect to receive your official admission and scholarship offer letter in January."

But looking quickly at LSN from last year it seems like the money doesn't come in until late Feb/March.  Maybe they are doing things differently this year?
