can anyone who has gone through the interview give me a heads up about what type of questions they ask?

are they pretty standard "tell me about yourself and why NW?" questions or are there some weird ones.

also, if you are going to the school for the interview does an alum conduct it or someone from admissions?

thanks

I did my interview back in september. I did an off campus alumni interview. It wasn't as much of an interview as a conversation. We went through my college experiances, and it seemed as if she was just trying to get to know me. Yes she did as the why NU type questions but she also seem to want to guage my interest in NU. She kept asking ME to ask HER questions. I was glad I had spent the afternoon before on NU's website.

Do your homework and you should have no problems.

Im a guy. I wore a suit. It was at a starbucks. I was overdressed.

Depends on where it is. If its at NW. WEAR A SUIT. If at a starbucks, work casual would be fine.

I checked the box that said "I do not wish to interview," which I think helped get me in.

Mine was also at a starbucks. I was also overdressed. My interviewer showed up in a sweatsuit. MAAAN did I feel out of place.
