159, 3.92, URM (Native American).

I am from Arizona and I am content with ASU or U of A, but LSN has piqued my interest in applying to a T14 school + maybe UCLA, Texas, Vanderbilt, BC, BU.

Is it worth it to apply? I know it is a crapshoot but I'd appreciate some opinions.

With your GPA, it doesn't hurt to apply to T14 schools, though I would recommend focusing on those which tend to accept more NDNs, such as Michigan and Berkeley.  You can check out a school's demographic breakdown on LSAC's guide to law schools.

Good luck!  Always good to see more of us applying.

I agree you should throw some apps out there- it is a bit of a crapshoot, but you will probably get into a few that you listed and it would never hurt to try

I don't think the T14 will happen, but you never know. Top 50 for sure.

Ninja, just what do you know about URM admissions?

Devo, your best shot is Berkeley, which loves GPAs such as yours, and is really trying to develop its Federal Indian Law/Tribal Law program.  They took 8 NDNs last year, and I suspect at least a few had your LSAT or lower.

Also, UCLA is a good choice, just outside of the T14.

URMs with really high UGPAs/lower (but not too low) LSATs are in much better shape than those of us with higher LSATs/low GPAs.  I would actually blanket the T14, from CCN on down.  But do it soon, and make sure your PS/DS relates to your strong cultural affiliation.  I'd bet money on you getting in somewhere.

Agree with MBW, particularly on the UCLA front.  I was going to mention that I know URMs who got in with roughly your same LSAT score, but lower GPAs.

Also agree on getting those apps out ASAP.

I had a Native American friend from college who got waitlisted at Upenn with similar LSAT and considerably worse grades.

I think it's worth applying to a few T14 schools. URM admissions is a crapshoot anyways.
