Article I Clerkships

Is it worth it to do a clerkship for an Article I federal judge? How are those sort of clerkships viewed by employers? Is it possible to go from an Article I court to a circuit court clerkship?

If you plan to practice in a specialized field with a corresponding court, then "good." (ie., government contracts for CFC, tax for TC).

circuit courts, by which I assume you mean federal courts of appeals, are article I courts.

Federal courts of appeals are Article III courts. Article I courts are things like bankruptcy court and tax court.
