I used the E&E, which I thought was pretty good though not comprehensive. I did not use it until the end of the course and I think I got better use out of it that way because the problems in earlier chapters (like problems on relevance) also had issues like character and hearsay in them so I could work out the problems on multiple levels (the answers in the book only covered what was in the chapter, but it was still helpful to work them out.)
I also used the Sum & Substance CDs to go over concepts and I thought it was useful. If you're into mnemonic devices, the Sum & Substance guy seems to love them and has a few he throws out there.
