What will/did you do with your LSAT study materials? POLL!
« on: December 17, 2008, 02:38:38 PM »
I have a bunch of books that are marked up and will probably not sell. I also have a ton of materials from Testmasters that I am not suppose to sell (no Ebay or Craigslist at least). I could save it but it takes up a lot of room and most of it is dog eared and marked up so it might not be of use to someone else.

If I did well on the DEC 08 LSAT and get accepted into a school on my list.....I plan on burning my LSAT materials in a beach bonfire while heavily intoxicated.

What about you?

I bought a bunch of books and then never used them since I took a class.  I'll sell the other books I bought.  My class books probably aren't worth a damn thing because they're so marked up.  I'll likely try to recycle them if possible.

I already trashed tons of old, marked-up PrepTests. It felt very cathartic. I've got the Powerscore Bibles and will likely be trashing those soon, too. Or burning them. Definitely something destructive.

However, I also have a brand spanking new October 2008 PrepTest if anyone wants to buy it cheap! LSAC sent it after the December test administration. PM me with an offer if you do...

3 things I did with my prep materials:

1. Sold on Craigslist
2. Gave to my students
3. Gave away on Freecycle.org

other -

my puppy had chewed off the cover and front pages off of 10 More Actual, Official LSAT, so i ripped out a couple sections to make him a training area so to speak... i know newspaper is easier but i currently do not get any newspapers delivered to me.

plus, if he ever wants to take the LSAT, he can start practicing those sections.  :)

there is a small mountain of lsat PTs and other books sitting on my bookshelf in my room.  i try to avoid it as much as possible, now that i've taken the real thing (and awaiting a score).  but sometimes i catch myself glancing at it and thinking, "ef. u. cee. kay."

I'm saving my stuff for my three nephews who are interested in applying to law school  They're not ready yet, so I'll hold onto the stuff and then give it to the guys when they're ready.  We'll pass it around among the three of them, for sure.  In other words, we won't make any prohibited copies of the copyrighted material.
