I'd feel bad for any kids I had with HB.

They'd have to become Mets fans....

Would you really want to doom your kids to a lifetime of suffering? It would need to be something more neutral/random, like the Indians or the Diamondbacks.

But then we run the risk of having one of those teams meet the Sox or Yanks in the playoffs (or in the Indians case, battle them for the wildcard). No, it would have to be a national league team with no chance of ever making the World Series. Thus, the Mets.

Unless we're doing weird couples, in which case, two guys together could work.

ETA: in that two people of the same sex can't mate.  I'm by no means a science whiz, but I'm pretty sure that's correct.
