Do I have a chance ?
« on: December 05, 2008, 08:19:47 AM »
I'm 35 years old.....physician with 3.3 gpa in med school
Grad UVA in Biology with gpa of 3.2
LSAT of 165
Female---1 child, married

Anyone know where I might stand as far as admissions go to a decent law school?
Any suggestions for where I should apply?
I'm new to this board....sorry for redundant questions.

just curious- why do you want to go to law school after doing med school?

ETA: you stand a good shot at a lot of schools- take a look at lawschoolnumbers.com and http://officialguide.lsac.org/UGPASearch/Search3.aspx?SidString=

I've been practicing for several years independently and I am frustrated that most of health care law is determined by non-physicians. I want to specialize in health care law and make my impact on the healthcare system in that manner. I surmise that I have a perspective that could be very insightful and helpful.

Thanks for the link!
