Been taking yr 2000 and above PT. Started 167, and gradually going down. Have no clue why this is happening. I hope I spike back up tho. Any experiences?

Doesn't the conversion scale get steeper as you move up to 2008?

The scale gets progressively worse when you start taking newer tests. On older tests I was scoring 4-5 points higher and getting the same amount of questions wrong as I did on more recent ones.

Not to sound unsympathetic, but your scores aren't really that far outside of the normal margin of error that LSAC admits. (+/- 3pts). The first test was strong, but it is possible that was the one that kind of hit your strengths.  Based on those scores, it would seem your skill level is around 163-164.
This pattern is also pretty common if you started studying from books/classes shortly after your first test. Many people find that they will experience a little drop in the first little while after starting, since they are trying to apply skills that they haven't yet mastered. I would look at the 163 as encouraging though, and it may indicate that those skills are starting to make a difference, and your score is on the upswing.  ;D

The scoring may be harder, but I've noticed that the games are easier... more linear games. I was missing several points (3-4+) on the LG section for older games and generally 0-2 on the newer games.

Or maybe I just gpt better at it. Who knows...

If I may contribute from my own experience.  The declining score can be attributed to several factors.  One of the biggest factors would be fatique (being burnt out).  Perhaps you're pushing yourself too hard before the exam.  You might want to take care of yourself and find a balance between adequate level of study and stress relief.

I've also experienced the so called "roller coaster effect."  For June 2008 exam (which I postponned), I was scoring 170-175 and started to drop as I got closer to the exam date.  Heck, my score dropped to 162 two days before the exam.
