I'm about to start studying for the Feb 09 LSAT...Best Tips?
« on: December 01, 2008, 01:53:52 AM »
I've taken a full-length Kaplan timed test (160...it was pretty cold), but I haven't done anything in awhile. I have 10 real LSATs and I'm going to work through the LG Bible.  Best tips?
Goal: 170 (or so)

First of all, no more "Kaplan Timed Tests." Only work with REAL LSAT TESTS (see below). The great thing about the LSAT is that there are nearly 60 real, official, tests for you to take. That is something like 6000 real lsat questions that you can use to study. The only reason that companies publish these fake LSATs is a profit-motive. They don't want to pay the fees to publish legit questions, so they create these half-assed LSATs that aren't at all representitive of real LSATs.  Please, find and buy every REAL LSAT preptest, and don't confuse yourself with the fake LSATs that are out there on the market.

Second, check out my general LSAT tips.

Then, You are going to need the following:

10 Acutal, Official LSAT PrepTests
10 More Actual, Official LSAT PrepTests
The Next 10 Actual, Official Lsat PrepTests
The Official LSAT SuperPrep
PrepTest 39-54 (find them here)

Must-Have prep books:
The PowerScore LSAT Logic Games Bible<img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=httpwwwpublas-20&l=as2&o=1&a=0980178207" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />

thanks...i just meant i have a book of 10 released LSATs, that isn't the title of the book.  the kaplan timed practice test is compiled completely from real LSAT questions, so it's relatively reliable as a raw base score.  thanks for the links!
