Irvine's new Law School

What are your thoughts on Irvine's new law school?

How does it compare to Pepperdine, Loyola, Chapman, and San Diego if you had to choose between these and Irvine?

It will one day be better then all of the listed schools, but in the mean time, it's still a brand new school. The UC brand will do it's grads many favors even without an established alumni base, but they will be unaccredited until the first class' 3L year. Caveat emptor, though it's free rides for the 1Ls, from what I gather.
I'mma stay bumpin' till I bump my head on my tomb.

Check out their website. They share a lot of information about their objectives with the program. Also, you can read the bios of their faculty and dean and see their accomplishments and which institutions they left to start this new school. This should give you a sense for the caliber of the teaching staff and administration. I also agree with the previous poster in that the UC name carries weight -- at least in Cali. It's a risk, of course, since it won't be accredited to start, but it's also free for at least the 08/09 class!  ;)
