I live in Jville. I recently sent them an email asking why the attrition rate is so high. They said that most are out of staters looking to transfer out since they could not get into thier in-state schools. That should tell you all you need to know. They also confirmed the rumor that they put all shcollys into one section is false. Saying that, if they offer me 3/4+ and I dont get into UF then I may go and transfer out since the campus is 5 minutes from my house.

Dodge Coastal like the plague. The school gets no respect in Florida and even less everywhere else. It pumps out too many graduates for Jacksonville to handle and that's about the only city you have a decent shot at finding a job in. Not to mention UF, FSU, Miami, Stetson, and to some degree Nova grads will still vacuum up all of the good jobs there before the top of the FL Coastal class gets any real stab at them.

And don't worry about their sports law program, you're probably not going to get a job working for any pro teams coming out of there. If sports law really interests you that much, Tulane and Marquette offer certificates in it.

The Hierarchy of Florida law schools:

Florida, Florida State, Miami
.
Stetson
.
.
.
Nova
.
Florida International
.
.
.
Barry, Florida A&M, Florida Coastal, St. Thomas
.
Ave Maria (Coming 2009)
I'mma stay bumpin' till I bump my head on my tomb.
