Mine is Civil Procedure.

My least favorite, by far, is Torts.

What about you?

Been a few years now, but I'd have to say Crim. Civ Pro was pure torture.

Same actually! Although Civ Pro is tied with legal writing.

Why was CivPro torture?  At least I don't have to wade through 50 cases to reach a legal rule.

Wally, it figures you would love CivPro.  Then again, I love it too, so I suppose that should say something as well  8)

Mine was Contracts, but Civ Pro was probably my second favorite.

I'd say either civ pro or property, but probably the former. Looking forward to contracts next quarter.

I'm more looking forward to Crim, but I heard that, like Torts, it's heavy on the cases and policy and light on the doctrine.

I wish I could take more statute/rule based classes.  I hate the common law.

Then you will probably not much like Crim, depending on how it's taught.

I think you'll like Contracts more. It's much more neat and clean and you can get the whole picture going in a very satisfying way. Crim is kind of a mess. I think it's interesting if you actually care about the subject matter, but the doctrine is very messy.

I don't know why I'm now invested in convincing people to like Contracts  :D But I think a lot of people like it more than they think they will, once they see what it is.

Who do you have for Civ Pro and Torts?

Torts was my favorite class last year. Crim was my least favorite, but this was largely due to professors on both counts, rather than subject matter.
