Has anyone tried putting in their UG and LS into Martindale Hubbell and sending out emails to those attorneys? Any success? Is it worth the time?

In the middle of my 1L job-lost-before-it-started panic, I hit up 40+ alumni in Dallas.  I had more than a few bites, but I wouldn't have expected any of attorneys to be in a job offer position.
