Transcript question.
« on: November 04, 2008, 03:16:49 PM »
I sent in my transcript as soon as I graduated UG. I just got a letter from my UG verifying my completion of a degree and that it will now reflect on my transcripts. This means that I sent in the transcript to LSAC too soon and although it will have all the classes, it will not have official degree earned note. Should I order another transcript?

Ummm... I couldn't imagine it'll be a big issue.  I'd order new transcripts.  However, I doubt it's imperative.

isn't degree award mandatory for applying to law schools?

No, or else people couldn't apply to schools while finishing their senior year.

You do, however, need to have a degree to matriculate.  In that respect, you can wait until you pick a school and just give them the transcript that reflects a degree awarded.
