Change address

Is it possible to change my mailing address with the schools I applied to AFTER having submitted my applications?

i know some schools let you change your mailing address via their status checker.  if there's not an automatic way to do it like that, i assume most schools would change your address if you mailed them a letter with the new and old addresses and signed it.
