35 old, 5 years to get LLB, ... game over
« on: October 29, 2008, 06:20:00 AM »
Well,

I am 35 and will start with my LLB by correspondence soon, 3 kids (2 3 and 4 yr old boys)
Living in a foreign country, running my own business and just feel like its too late.

I will be 40 when I finish,.... seriously depressed that it wont matter anymore..
Anyone wanna kick some sense into me!

People today work until they're 70! You can still have a 30 year career...

I have classmates in thier late 50s early 60s, and as far as I know everyone has a job at this point. Second career lwyers are pretty common, espically if you can tie the law into what you did before.
*In clinical studies, Matthies was well tolerated, but women who are pregnant, nursing or might become pregnant should not take or handle Matthies due to a rare, but serious side effect called him having to make child support payments.

I guess that is all true, finishing at 40, perhaps doing my LLM just to ensure some good opportunities. Thanks for the kind words, it is difficult to be 35 I guess, too young to be old, too old to be young.
