Addendum regarding extended absence from workforce

In 2002 I got married and we had our first child the following year. My husband and I decided it would be better for our family if I stayed home raising our daughter and studying to improve my English. In 2007 our second child was born, right before my graduation from (……. ).

what you guys think? too short??
 

I never had to write an addendum...not sure how to star one

Simple and to the point in my opinion. You shouldn't have to defend your decision to stay at home and raise your two children. 

"Per my absence from the work force from 2002 to present, in 2002 I was married and have since had two children whom I've dedicated my time to raising."
