Question about fee waivers

Question about fee waivers
« on: October 25, 2008, 02:50:25 PM »
I just got my LSAT score back and i'm applying to 10 public schools. ppl on here talk about how they are getting fee waivers in the mail, do these come to just people who have excellent scores? I got a 160 on my LSAT and GPA is 3.9. Is it likely that I will get some fee waivers if I hold off a few weeks? My cycle is going to cost $500+, but i've narrowed it down as much as possible
GPA: 3.88 LSAT: 160

Make sure to sign up for the Candidate Referral Service through LSAC. That's where most of my fee waivers came from. Most of the letters that accompanied them mentioned something about my LSAT score or "credentials" (neither of which are very impressive). You can expect some waivers to schools based on your LSAT but if you highlight an interest in particular states in your CRS you'll probably get some more.
