My update box has been filled, but my score is not in.  I had to force myself to go to bed this morning at about 5 a.m. after waiting up all night.  (OK, I may have gone out and gotten lost on the way home...)  I'm abroad and so mad at LSAC right now!!!

Hey Explorer, what does your update box say?

154.  So now I have a question since I'm kind of new to these boards.  I had been hoping for 160+ but clearly that didn't happen.  On the other hand, though, I have a 3.9 GPA and have a TOOOOON on my plate.  Should I just stick with this?  I'm looking at Tennessee, Ohio State, Kentucky, maybe Vanderbilt.  What do yall think?

My breakdown as follows:

Section 1: LR: -2(last 2, I remember guessing on 1 of these)
Section 2: RC: -4(near my average for RC)
Section 3: experimental(LR)
Section 4: LR: -0
Section 5: LG: -3

Last LG I missed two questions.

Wow, clean sheet in one of the LR's!

My breakdown is:
LR1 : -3
LR2: -2 (still so impressed I got only -2 in this section)
RC: -6 (say what!)
LG: -6 (unsurprising)

Just got my score.. and.. I did horribly.

Got slammed on RC. Big time.

I guess I'm out for this cycle.

i THINK i got mine.  i received an email on my blackberry at 7:31 p.m. EST that came from 'LSAC SCORE" and it came with urgent delivery, and the subject line started with "October LSAT"

i haven't opened it because i usually don't open stuff like that for a day or two.  i'm not saying this to show anyone on here up, but to share the knowledge below.

i called LSAC yesterday, after a friend who is a 2L told me that scores are usually out the friday before.  the woman at LSAC said that they DO NOT release scores until scores are updated into everyone's files, and that as of thursday, scores had not been placed into anyone's files yet.  however, she said once they are available, they will send them out, but it can take hours to get everyone's out.

i would think that if they begun releasing them tonight, they will complete it within 12 hours.  given that the LOR and transcript emails came to me at ~4:30 a.m. and 1:45 a.m., respectively, i wouldn't find it surprising if some scores came out later tonight to complete the notification process.

are you sure thales? I know you are applying to a lot of Canadians schools (where with the exception of Osgoode, the threshold is a low lower) and you have good grades from a good school....

from the looks of the percentile rank, this test was tough on a lot of people. I would also be thrilled with a 168 or 169+
