Scale: Minus-8 = 175 Minus-13 = 170. Minus-20 = 165. Your thoughts?

I thought the test was more challenging than normal.  I thought the last two games were tough, and I think that a lot of people were rushed on the reading this time.  What do you think the scale is?  I'm thinking I missed between 12 and 18.  What do you all think the scale will look like?

i think the one you said is generous.  -10 or -11 maybe for 170?

That is a very generous curve.  I'd say -6=175, -11=170, -18=165

I thought LR were on par, and while RC was incredibly nuanced, I don't think the passages themselves were particularly tricky. It won't be -20 for 165 though. I've only seen a curve like that once, and it was for a test in the 90s where a -14 or -16 was a 170. I would guess straight up -10 for 170.

yeah, that curve is way too generous. I think -10 = 170, -6 = 175.

To be honest it wouldn't seem strange to me to see a -13 curve for a 170 nor a -8 curve for a 170.

I thought that the RC was more difficult than normal, plus the logic game with the bus/city routes seemed harder than most of the other recent games.

I guess -12 for 170 (hoping more than guessing, maybe)

I feel exactly the same way. Funny, I was aiming for 170+, but now I'm just aiming for a decent score that will get me into slightly above average schools 

Regardless, I hope the scale is that generous, but I doubt it.
