It's a little outdated, but no more outdated than any of the other info you have (besides first hand accounts). Vandy, for instance, is 191 this year.

they shoot for 200, right? 8 sections of 25? Thats a complete guess, by the way

I believe they actually shoot for 190, give or take for numbers jockeying.

We have two sections, though. Of the four classes we take first semester, 1 is half of the section, 1 is a quarter, and 2 are the whole.

Cornell has sections of ~30-35

Is that your first year section, as a whole, or your first year section for a particular class (such as LWR)?

Your small section has LR and one other course exclusively.
The other three other courses you have with 2 other sections.

So, I made a spreadsheet of all the schools I'm considering with some info that's important to me, and I have the total law school size and the 1L section size (the # of people in your 1L classes).  Wow. My lameness surprises even me sometimes.  I got the info from LSAC.  I can send it to you if you want since we have a decent overlap in schools.

Nerd.

That's seriously what I looked like for half of my life  :(

I think pretty much every school must do it this way. How about this - are there any schools that don't more or less do it this way? I think Yale might have sections of around 20 instead of around 30, but basically everyone does it like this, yes?

Right.  mine did LRW with one section, one doctrinal class with 2 sections, and 2 other doctrinal classes with 4 sections.

NU is like 240: 4 sections of 60. LRW is split into 9 sections.
