June 2005 Test 46 Section 3 (LR) #24
« on: September 27, 2008, 05:34:31 PM »
Can anyone help me out with this Q? After 30+ preptests I hardly ever have trouble understanding why I'm wrong, but this Q has thrown me off course. Any advice on how to tackle/diagram/think through it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Good luck to everyone taking the test in 1 week btw!

I ended up figuring it out with the help of someone on another board. To quote him:

" basically, argument is: money doesn't exist because it disappears when we stop believing in it.

assumption being:

anything that exists would continue to exist even if we all stopped believing in it. since money disappears at that point, it doesn't exist."

Thanks to anyone that was trying to help me out.
