yeah, it means that you have to be cleared of you conflicts. Did you summer there? They should have cleared you of conflicts before you summered.

Conflicts are where your previous work is related to the clients or parties in cases that your current firm is handling.

it means congratulations on the offer, enjoy standard bureaucracy. 
I hate science because I refuse to assume that a discipline based in large part on the continual scrapping and renewal of ideas is unconditionally correct in a given area.
