1L Firm Jobs Are More or Less Hopeless, Right?
« on: September 07, 2008, 10:44:48 PM »
 :(

Maybe I read ATL too frequently, but it's rumored that even Federal District/CoA clerks are having trouble finding firms jobs right now, and 3Ls are basically SOL.

Don't count on it, right?  What do my fellow 1Ls and higher-ups think?

No problems here.  (not a 1L).
I hate science because I refuse to assume that a discipline based in large part on the continual scrapping and renewal of ideas is unconditionally correct in a given area.

2 personal bumps in 27 hours, both using the word "broach". That has to be a record.

There was that one guy that one time who really wanted LSD feedback about his grandma's jewelry....

Well the economy sucks right now, so those stories are believable. By the time you get out of school and we get a new president, maybe things will improve. But things are just a  little bad for a variety of reasons. The law is not immune from the economic downswing that the rest of the country is in. The only thing you could control is your performance at the school you are attending.
