margins for two-page personal statements
« on: September 06, 2008, 05:19:42 PM »
how many of you are playing with the margins on your personal statements for the schools that ask for only two pages? i can't cut down two or three sentences...

do you think it's possible that they have it set so printers won't print beyond 1" margins, or am i being paranoid?

my resume has .56" margins, and i assume others have similar margins...so maybe using .9" would be okay on the ps? any ideas?

I don't think it matters unless the application specifically indicates a requirement.  That being said, having margins below standard print settings/comfortable reading is probably not a good again.  I think 9" should be fine.  I am not 100% sure though.
