Mass-Mailing

So I'm about middle of the road at BU/BC. I had 5 OCI interviews at an off campus interviewing fair in New York this past Thursday but no callbacks as of yet.

I would like to do the mass-mailing thing but I really don't know where to begin. Can someone give me some pointers? For example, where do I find a list of the firms I would like to interview at? Do I need to tailor a cover letter to each firm? (If so how is this done?)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just an FYI, OCI = "on campus interviewing" so if you were at an off-campus job fair, it wasn't OCI.

I'd start with a Martindale search on Lexis, or you can also get some firm names from the state bar association website.  Additionally, career services may be a good place to start as well, in terms of providing you with some firms or pointing you into a good direction on where to look to compile your list.
