While I tend to agree with PJC on many issues, I kind of liked the OP's joke...

nObama....

I wouldn't let a dentist work on my teeth who had less than 150 days of relevant experience, so I'm not going to elect a President with similar credentials....

Vote for the career politician then.  That will ensure more of the same business as usual/Washington nonsense....or....

SCK, raises a good point.  People like to say that we either need 'the outsider' or 'the one with experience' depending upon what argument is the most self serving.

TITCR

The Republicans used this reverse logic in 2000 (Gore had a lot more relevant Washington experience than Bush). The Democrats are using it in 2008.

When was McCain president?  My point is that no one has relevant experience.  Being President is so different than any other job that no one can be fully prepared.  Let's just try not to pick a f-in retard this time, huh, America?

This might be a triple post b/c LSD is being wonky but it actually deserves to be read at least 3 times.  Here goes:

SCK, raises a good point.  People like to say that we either need 'the outsider' or 'the one with experience' depending upon what argument is the most self serving.

Amen brutha.  But I think you're missing the point.  The point is we need a man that can cater to the special interest lobbies and ear-marking ways of Washington.  Someone plugged in.  Someone that has an even greater chance of having a heart attack or dying in office than Dicky Cheney...someone that won't bow down to the sunscreen lobby...

We need someone that can @#!* up the next 4-8 years even better than the last...

That man is Johnny McCain.  And even he would approve of this message.
