New professor- No old exams

Hey all,

So, I just got my class schedule and read up a little on my
professors. I discovered that one of the professors is new, coming
from another university.

I've noticed on the all the study articles, working from the
professor's old exams is essential. But since this professor is new,
how do I approach it now?

He might have old exams from his old university, but I don't know if I
would be able to get them/or if it's even feasible.

Any recommendations?

You can contact the library at his old university or any student(s) that you might know at the university.

The library will probably be able to help you out.

Ask at the beginning of the semester, if he doesn't tell you, if he'll be making old exams available to you. This is, in my experience, pretty standard, and it's a completely legitimate question to ask/request to make.

If not (or if he only gives you one or two old exams), the advice above is spot on.
