To become a lawyer WITHOUT going to law school?
« on: August 14, 2008, 09:26:17 PM »
http://www.ehlinelaw.com/pages/3226/How_to_Become_a_Lawyer_With_No_Law_School_-_Be_a_Lawyer_With_No_College.htmue

Is this article true? I know it sounds way too true and it's stupid even to consider that, but can someone with experience verify this?

Yep true, and how law was taught before the last 100 years or so.
*In clinical studies, Matthies was well tolerated, but women who are pregnant, nursing or might become pregnant should not take or handle Matthies due to a rare, but serious side effect called him having to make child support payments.

You could say the same about most ABA-accredited grads. If someone has a contact or is starting their own practice, the above approach would arguably be much better than dropping $150K on a 3rd/4th tier school.

You are going to be in for a surprise if you go BIGLAW (except for the coffee fetching).
