How much did your LSAT score drop from your highest practice score?

(I know it differs greatly from person to person, and some people's scores even go up on the real deal.)
But what was your real LSAT score compared with your average practice score?
How about compared with your highest practice score?
My last four practice tests in order have been two 172s, a 171, and a 174, but I feel like I ought to expect a drop in October.

Mine didn't drop, but many/most do at least a few points. 

As long as you're working with full-length tests, including a 5 mock experimental (that you also score), and you include the 10 most recent LSAT's, you should probably be able to score within a few points of your practice average.  Given where you are now, you should definitely be able to break 170 on test day.

i scored as high as 174 on PTs and scored a 165 on the actual exam.  i think it depends on how real your practice conditions are.  i had a tendency to give myself extra breaks, for example.

Highest PT was a 180 (only once), average was about 173-174, I got a 177.  It really all depends on how you are with tests, the test you get, etc.

Got a 178 on one test and 170s on a bunch of others. 169 on test day was roughly in my bottom 20% of test scores.

I definitely recommend Lindbergh's approach of adding the extra section and taking them BACK TO BACK. Up until the 5th section, I had only missed 4 questions on the test (putting me at a delicious 174). But the last section (also my least favorite -- RC) knocked off an additional 5 points from my total, putting me at a -9, which on the ridiculous June 07 scale ended up being a 169

I belive my highest score was a 176, but I averaged around 171.  I got a 166 on the lamest LSAT in the world - June '07.  I'm focused on keeping my raw score consistently above 91.  A given raw score corresponds to quite different scaled scores depending on the test, but given the historical data for scaled scores, a score of 91+ should equal at least 170. 

I suggest focusing on consistently scoring a raw score within a certain range.  The 88 that I scored on the June LSAT only yielded a 166 while on some tests it would have gotten me a 171.  Shoot for the raw score that you need to get assuming the toughest curve possible.
