September 2009 LSAT anyone?
« on: July 31, 2008, 06:39:13 PM »
Hello!

Is anyone else preparing for the September 2009 LSAT?

I saw another member who was preparing for the June 2009 already. I will take my first LSAT next year, and yes, I have already read the stickies and posts concerning preparing in advance and recommended books.

I'm just curious. :)

I thought I was going to be ready for December 2008. But now I'm not so sure. If I'm not ready for the December test, I may very well push mine back to September 2009.

Why skip over Feb. 2009, June 2009?

I'm in a similar position.

I'm pretty sure that I'm going to sit this cycle out, but have been studying pretty regular since the middle of June & have had my prep materials since January.

I want to take some time off before starting LS (to be a normal person after so much college the last few years), but don't want to have to worry about the LSAT all the way up to June of next year.

I feel pretty comfortable with this December.

But..if I retake..I'm planning on Feb. - trying not to let that Feb. misconpetion bother me..you know, that it's "not quite like the others." That has to be bullsh*t, correct?
Birds of a feather flock together.

I'm just curious. :)
Curiosity has killed many cats and also lead to 'experiments' that have caused some guys and gals to switch teams.

heheh Reminds me of that Larson cartoon.... "Yep, curiosity killed these cats"

I just started studying. I want to be ready for December 2008 so I can apply for Fall 2009. I'm doing great on RC, average on LR and suck on LG. My friend was telling me if I don't take it in December I should wait to take it until the following year. But now I'm not so sure she knows what the hell she's talking about. I think she may have been referring to if I bomb the Dec 2009 test I should put some space in between the LSATs.

I'll be taking next September's LSAT as well. I've started sunfunliving's six month study plan, but have spread it out a little bit. Also, I'm saving the ten latest LSAT prep tests for the final weeks leading up to the actual exam. I figure that with enough prep I can get my 153 diagnostic up to the 170 range.Good luck on your prep.

Well, I bumped my goal date up to June 2009 to allow time for a retake if needed, but we'll see as we get closer.

Good luck! It's good to see others looking ahead! My biggest obstacle will be the birth of my son (already have a girl) in September of this year (on top of classes and PT work at the start of the new year). But I'm optimistic. Anyone else a little worried about sticking to a schedule due to outside time constraints?
