all the more reason to avoid any non t30 school like the plague lest on substantial scholarship / independently wealthy, imho.

Its completely true what you said though...state school in state prices and you get to be middle class with a sort of acceptable salary in flyover states. 

Sure you can make it big after paying 200k in loans, but this is your life your betting on.
