SA Offer Status?

sorry, are you refering to 2L sa's getting offerice for perm employment after graduation or rising 2L's looking for their 2L job next summer?

FWIW, I was told that Cadwalader had plans to make offers to all of their summers.

Yeah, that's just what the laid-off First-Year Associates want to hear.  Sheesh.  I'd stay away from Cadwalader if you've got other options.

I have one for next summer and one for permanent employment. I kinda wanna work at a dif place though. But I don't wanna lose these offers. Oh well. We shall see. Good luck all!

Recently received my permanent offer and am very happy/excited/thankful, you name it.

Just to give some context for those who want to know: I spent my summer associateship in a major market at a large (250+) office of a national firm. This firm historically gives permanent offers (cold or otherwise, I'm just going by NALP) to the vast majority of its summer associates. From what I understand, the firm did not over hire for this summer.

I should know Friday morning. I'm feeling pretty good about it, but still nervous with the economy and such. Fingers crossed!
